Collision Damage Waiver frees the customer from financial liability for damage to the Hertz Vehicle, its parts and accessories, provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement (point 7). In any case, in this rate are not covered by the CDW damages to wheels, tyres, glasses, underbody or interior of the car, tow tracks and lost or damages to the car keys. INCLUDED IN THE RATE.

Theft Protection, frees the customer from financial liability for loss of, or damage to the Hertz Vehicle, its parts and accessories, due to theft provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. INCLUDED IN THE RATE.

Possibility to waive the NWE by accepting an additional daily charge if CDW and/or TP are accepted. The following is not covered by the SCDW and will be paid by customer: Damages to wheels, tyres, damages to the underbody or interior of the car, lost or damages to the car keys and tow trucks. INCLUDED IN THE RATE.

Personal Insurance covers the authorized drivers and passengers of the Hertz vehicle. This insurance could be purchased at pick-up time. NOT INCLUDED IN THE RATE.

Applicable per accident and/or per theft with or without contrary vehicle. Value to which the customer is responsible in case of accident or theft. Even if the customer has purchased the CDW and TP with the exception if there is a nonfulfillment form terms and conditions or in case of accident driving out of asphalt roads in which cases the client will pay the total cost of repairs. It will be deducted to the customer the amount of NWE on their credit card by way of deposit to charge possible damages to wheels, glasses, windscreen, rear-view mirrors, damages to the underbody or interior of the car, lost or damages to the car keys and tow trucks. NWE may change under the terms of updating of the premium of the insurance company.

This service is available in the opening hours and free of charge. The driver of the car will be picked up from their accommodations and driven to the nearest station to complete and sign the rental agreement. Some hotels have an arranged pick up time due to the long distance from the rental office. Moreover, you will receive a confirmation e-mail where you can find the telephone number of the rental office.
In the case of no-show the name of the hotel or apartment in the list, you can indicate in the field "Other Accommodation/Cruise" and our Booking Center will contact you to confirm or not the service.

There are some hotels which indicate the word WALK IN, that mean the pick up service is not available due to the short distance from the rental office, so you could go walking. Please ask at your hotel reception where is the Hertz Rent a Car office.

Baby seats and boosters: For children under 3 years old and weighting less than 18 kilos. Children over 3 years old or more than 18 kilos there is available booster seats at the same charge. Price: €3,01 per day at the maximum €30,05 per rental + TAX..

Luggage racks: Available only for car groups A y B. Damages to the car due to the transport of luggage without luggage rack will be not cover by any insurance. Price: €3,01 per day at the maximum €30,05 per rental + TAX..

Additional driver: For one or more additional drivers there is a daily fee. Price: €3,01 per day at the maximum €30,05 per rental + TAX.

GPS Neverlost: On Request, you must indicate in the field "Remarks" and our Booking Center will contact you to inform if you have booked or not. Price: €5,31 per day at the maximum €79,65 per rental + TAX.

CAR WIFI Portable: Connect up to 5 devices ( computer, smart phone, iPad, PSP...) via WiFi with our mini portable WiFi router and forget about expensive Roaming. You can view the features in our "Offers". On Request, you must indicate in the field "Remarks" and our Booking Center will contact you to inform if you have booked or not. Price: €5.31 per day at the maximun €79.65 per rental + TAX.

One way: This charge applies to 1 or 2 rental days. For 3 or more rental days, this option is free of charge. This service is also available between islands on request, but ONLY for groups A,B & C . In this case, you should show it in “Remarks” field and our Booking Center will contact you to inform if possible return the car in another island. This service could be free of charge depending on availability or promotions. Price: €15,00 + TAX.

For your convenience avoiding spend your time looking for a petrol station at the return time we offer you the Fuel Prepaid Option (FPO), so you could return your car empty. If you accept Fuel Prepaid Option you should return the car as empty as possible. If you do not accept Fuel Prepaid Option the car should be returned with the same amount of fuel that it was supplied with and you will be required to leave a fuel deposit according to the price fixed in the rental agreement. Missing fuel will be debited from your deposit. The remaining fuel will not be refunded in any case whether you accept Fuel Prepaid Option or not.

Payment will be done in a Hertz Canarias office by credit card at the time your rental agreement is issued. The excess and/or deposit it will be freeze from your credit card.
The amount of deposit will be €100 for all groups except for groups I, J & Z is €150, and for groups S, A4 & C4 the deposit  amount will be the excess.

Minimum age: Minimum age of driver is 21 for groups A, B & C and 25 for all other groups. At pick up time the driver must have held a full driving license for a minimum of one year.

If the car has been not picked up within 2 hours later the pick up time specified in your booking without notice of the delay to the rental office or Booking Center of Hertz Canaries ( +34 928 823 364 ) your booking will be automatically canceled.

An extra 59 minutes term (based on the pick up hour) is allowed for the vehicle return. Otherwise an extra day will be charged with direct rate applicable on that day.

EXTENSION OF RENT

If  you want to extend the rental period of your vehicle, you must contact the office and if there is availability the rate and conditions in force at the time will be applied.
