The Faycan Group represent the multinacional company HERTZ - then world's leading vehicle renting organization - and has the franchise in The Canary Islands since 1983. Nowadays, the Faycan Group is made up of two different areas:
- Rent A Car area: Hertz Canarias (Autored, S.L.).
- Industrial area: Industrial Faycan, S.L., Supermercado de la Madera -Lanzafuerte.
The Faycan Group whose founders and majority members are Jerónimo Quevedo y José Antonio Rijo , has more than 200 workers, has more than 20 offices in the main tourist areas, airports and harbours in the islands, and has one of the largest fleet in The Canary Islands - more than 3.000 vehicles.
MORE 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE
1983 - Hertz Canarias (Faycan Group) obtains the license for the island of Fuerteventura.
1991 - The Faycan Group gets the license for the islands of Gran Canaria, Tenerife
and Lanzarote. 1992 - The island of La Palma joins to the Faycan Group. Then, 5
islands represent the multinacional company Hertz.
1999 - Incorporating the island of La Gomera, Hertz Canarias is in all the islands
except in the island of El Hierro. Sales Department is created for all The Canary
Islands. On 2nd of November starts to work the new Booking Center from Hertz Canarias
(902 107 707).
2000 - The first presentation card with special conditions is launched, the "Premier"
card.
2004 - The only website of inmediate bookings for travel agencies is created, archieving
that their clients book a car in less than a minute with absolutely guarantee.

The service to the clients is our more important aim. Last years, we have done big
efforts to improve the quality that we give through all our operations, new opening
offices, presence in 6 islands, whe are in the main Canary airports, whe have created
a Booking Center, a Customer Service Center, etc, Everyting to offer the highest
level of service and complementary products to our clients. However, whe can´t stop
here still exist a long way to walk, we have to look forwards, to the future, improving
every day at the same time we keep our competitive advantage in the rent a car area.

Our aim. An important idea is than as a company, as employees we are interested
in then clients. We want to help them when they rent a car - this is our commercial
philosophy - when clients arrive to our desk is because they need something that
we can satisfy, and we have to achieve the most level of satisfaction appropiated
